The things shops ask first.
Is there a trial?
Yes — 14 days, with every feature unlocked, so you can run a real job through it before you decide which package you want. It begins as soon as we approve you.
Why do I have to request access?
Because we approve every shop by hand rather than opening the doors to a sign-up form. The engine is the product, not a brochure — so we'd rather know who's using it, and bring you on ourselves.
Is it priced per user?
No. It's a flat monthly price for the shop, and every seat is included. Add your whole sales team and the install crew — the bill doesn't move.
Can I switch packages later?
Yes. Upgrading unlocks Project Management right away; downgrading takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
It's preserved. The production features lock, but nothing is deleted — your jobs, drawings and documents are all still there if you come back.
Do you integrate with QuickBooks?
No — and that's deliberate. Putting the entirety of a company on one system is a risk worth refusing, so your books stay yours and out of our blast radius. You still track the money movement on the job. More on that.
Who owns my pricing and my drawings?
You do. Your material prices and labor rates are yours, kept private to your shop, and every drawing and quote goes out under your branding — not ours.
Is there a contract?
Billed monthly. Cancel and it ends at the close of the period you've paid for.
Start where it hurts most.
Most shops start with Project Management. If you only need to sell the work, Design Engine does that on its own.
